getting off-topic...anyhow ill definately keep my eye on this thread and see where it goes.
When the numbers were big enough we had some deals with the now defunct Mountain Mitsubishi, Speedware, WorldOne etc. We even used to get discounts on track days because we could bring a lot of numbers out. Once the numbers started dwindling it made no business sense so we lost all those deals.

whats the difference between a member and people making it out to the events when they can? being a member...you're obligated to attend stuff? monthly fee? just curious! lol

Like Codgi said the #'s are what make a difference for getting discounts. I personally work for a big independent shop & am a master certified technician, I can offer good deals on labor & parts. It is all about club participation and who everyone knows.

A member is more envolved and treats the club as a hobby, helping to make a better orginization. We always have people show up to check it out that are not part of the club, I relize that no everybody has the time to participate all the time. If we have fees it would be to help pay for website, banners, shirts, sticker stock, This all depends on how far we want to take it. Hard for one person to flip the bill. Usaully the only dues are yearly and are fairly cheap.

Here are a couple pics from back in the day. Dont mind the couple subies in the last pic. All the rest were Evo's. The one with Mt. St. Helens in the back ground is not photoshoped. I just really like that pic.

Can I join NWE? Kyle and I just moved back to Tacoma. While we were in Oregon we were apart of a touge group. Since we moved up here Kyle talked to the admin of the site and agreed to add a Washington section. So it would be awesome if you guys can check it out.And get some more evos in the scene.

I'm glad a lot off people are showing interest, I am trying to get ahold of present members and club council to help get a meeting set up. I think we should probably meet around the Tacoma area hopefully sometime in early November. Any good ideas for a meeting spot?

I wouldnt mind getting together with the Oregon people. I would think it would be cool to start an Oregon chapter of the club. I tried it before & had quite a few people in the Oregon area show interest. I know it is hard to a 3 hour drive just to go to a meet. Hopefully we can figure something for you Oregon EVO's.
