When I first started reading up on turbos, the FP Green was the talk of everything and now the FP Red and soon the FP Black. While I'm sad I can't fork out the money for a turbo i'm glad that I can see what is proven to work so when I can afford it, I'll get the setup i'm looking for. Keep the information coming.

I can't decide if I want fast spool or peak power!?!?!? The new Green or the Black?!?!

Who am I kidding? I have no money and won't have any for a while.

College + College Soccer = no time to work = being hella broke = FAIL
My poor car is in such bad shape. I need to garage her but have to get to school and practice everyday.

Bushur is saying it hits 20psi by 3850rpm.... That sounds pretty damn good. Given the same engine, I wonder where the GT35R would start to pull away from an FP Black in terms of power.

How much faster does a twin scroll 35R spool than a standard single scroll? I think ETS states ~600 rpm sooner, but I could be wrong.

Take my dynograph and chop it down 10% and add the better spool. Basically as soon as the standard scroll is spooled it would be starting to pull a black. The black isnt meant to replace a normal 35r kit though for peak power, just ease of use. A twin scroll version of mine would be around 400rpm sooner (4800 from my current 5200), but gets more limited out the top.

Hey Aaron, why does the twinscroll lose power up top? Is it because of restrictions or is this way over my head?

back pressure increases since you have ALOT of exhaust going through 2 small apertures vs one HUGE one. Even with the same A/r the twin scroll spools faster but falls off faster. The other negative is as backpressure goes up, EGTs go up and as they go up knock potential gets greater.
