pdx evo roll call

It seems as though there's a good amount of us Evo owners fairly close together. Is anybody down for a cruise or know of any?

Between PDX and the 'Couve we have quite a few owners. There was a cruise just not too long ago actually. I'd like to do one before the end of the year...just need to get the motor in the car and some break in miles first.

next is X MR. already looking for one. hard to find what I'm looking for...
looking for one on auction maybe with little damage ( I want to bring her back to life) maybe engine problem. will never buy from dealer anymore. I hate paying payments so much. Max I want to pay 20k for X.

Max 20k for a X MR? Man good luck. Have you driven the MR yet? If not you're welcome to try mine out (when I get plates).

BTW, if you do get a X MR, just make sure you get a warranty . You don't want that $9k transmission going out on you.

Oh snap! I thought you were joking about selling the IX Igor. Like migs said, if you need a test drive just hit me up. I'm a lot closer to you since you are in Lea Hill. As for the 100,000k warranty, it covers certain parts of the tranny but it won't cover the twin clutches. They consider that wearable but the rest of it they will. Good luck with your search.

Well that depends, currently the SST isn't serviceable by . If one thing goes wrong with the SST, they take it out and put a new one in. If they keep things like that since Getrag might not release serviceable parts for the SST, then the twin clutches will be covered by warranty, since the techs won't know what's wrong. Not sure where you got 100k mile drivetrain warranty though. Unless you bought an aftermarket warranty it's 5 year / 60k miles on the Evo X.

Yeah I had it extended with Fidelity. It's a 10 year 100K warranty. But it was still sold through the dealer when I bought the car. I break a lot of car parts, at least I have so far. It was just stated on my contract that the clutches were not covered but the tranny is. But in the case that they just replace the whole Getrag Tranny, then I have nothing to worry about up to 100K. Woo Hoo!
