Between PDX and the 'Couve we have quite a few owners. There was a cruise just not too long ago actually. I'd like to do one before the end of the year...just need to get the motor in the car and some break in miles first.

BTW, if you do get a X MR, just make sure you get a warranty

Oh snap! I thought you were joking about selling the IX Igor. Like migs said, if you need a test drive just hit me up. I'm a lot closer to you since you are in Lea Hill. As for the 100,000k warranty, it covers certain parts of the tranny but it won't cover the twin clutches. They consider that wearable but the rest of it they will. Good luck with your search.

If they keep things like that since Getrag might not release serviceable parts for the SST, then the twin clutches will be covered by warranty, since the techs won't know what's wrong. Not sure where you got 100k mile drivetrain warranty though. Unless you bought an aftermarket warranty it's 5 year / 60k miles on the Evo X.

It was just stated on my contract that the clutches were not covered but the tranny is. But in the case that they just replace the whole Getrag Tranny, then I have nothing to worry about up to 100K. Woo Hoo!
