I don't know about that.....What Mr. Yahu needs to do is add "Powered by Cherry Limeade" sticker on his car and that might do the trick, dats what i heard anyway..... He would probably gain at less 10 to 15 more hp.

LOL - you guys cracking me up. I could probably get that powered by Cherry Limeade sticker. I need a couple more anyway!

I'd totally get a stroker going, Keith...if I won the lottery. Funds aren't endless at this point so that will have to wait.

Good question Igor - the staged upgrades happened in 2007 (I ran stock for about 1 year after getting the car new); cams and ER happened in 2008; meth happened early this year, and Red+cast intake happened at the very end of August.

Hopefully there will be an update to this in the next couple weeks!

Glad I could help pass the time during the work day with the long read!

No you don't really want a stroker do you? How about a built 2.0 liter, and run that thing all the way to 9k. Sounds more yummy than torque....... I need a guinea pig and volunteers are needed.

A 2.2L 4G64 should be pretty close to that, and provide more torque.

We have done the 2.0l that revs to 9k...I will show you dyno sheets tomorrow.

My 2.2 is gonna rev 9k+ so it should be interesting. If i start to think the 3586 is too small a change to something with some more flow and a few hundred more rpm is still doable. The long rod 2.2 is still capable of reving like a 2.0 just has the added edge of more displacement.

say you were going to do it all over again. Knowing what you know now, in what order would you mod your car performance wise?

I'd be interested in more info on the 2L to 9k. I've been thinking about this as one route to go .

That is a good question. A few things that I can think of:
- I really have been happiest with performance since the introduction of meth so I'd say I might have done that sooner since the gas up North doesn't seem so great. If e85 was a viable option I probably would have jumped to that even sooner.
- I have never been unhappy with Buschur parts but seeing that I like to support the local company, I would have gone ETS if they were available back then. It would have saved me money in the long run too.
- I might have waited for a certain turbo if said turbo wasn't a myth in July/August.
- a better clutch in the mix sooner so that I wouldn't worry about mine?

Update that I forgot to mention specifically in here - the Swift Spec-R springs are installed though I still have to get back out and straighten the fronts. The ride is amazing and feels better than stock. My wife even said that it feels smoother. Accelleration doesn't lift the nose horrendously like it used to and corners are so much more fun - I should finally be able to wear the rubber out on these BFGs.

I don't have the context of the Swift Sports, which I worried would be better, but the Spec-Rs have been worth every penny thus far. If you are debating the jump, I say go in with both feet! I don't have a good side view picture, but will take one soon (need to get that baseline shot to compare to in a few months when the springs have settled some).

I also finally got out and put some vinyls on that Ryon made. They are great quality and I'll definitely be getting more! So without further ado, enjoy the sheer unadulterated awesomeness that is the WWJBD sticker on my rear window! (and yes, I know my sheeit is dirty!)

There are other vinyls, but I wouldn't want to **** off anyone that believes they have rights to a certain font not owned by them...

Remember that there are two benefits to a clean car:

1) weight reduction
2) improved aero
3) chicks dig it

Okay, that was three, but #3 is very importanto.

BTW: you need to re-clearcoat that trunk lid or wax it more. (sorry, my inner detailer just came out)

^I don't - that is literally dust... See the right side? That is where I cleaned it and used soapy water to get the vinyl lined up. It does look like the clear coat has gone to poo in that flash pic though.
