Not sure, haven't done it yet. I'm waiting to do my cams and timing belt next year before I get my car tune again. But once its done you'll be the first to know......unless someone else beat me to it. I'm guessing with the right set of tools maybe 4 to six hours.

I'm almost at 61k and no timing belt change yet. My brother is a technician and told me that it is starting to show signs of wear and it as well as the drive belts. He said i'll be fine if I don't change it right away but told me to take it easy on the hard or long drives till then just to be on the safe side.

I would change it asap.

The potential problems from having one snap can be very detrimental to your wallet.

I changed mine at 58k, better safe than sorry.

Are Evo's a no clearance motor? It would seem with 8.5:1 compression, valves wont hit pistons if the belt breaks.
