I used method #1 for a while, and switched it over to method #2 after reading some threads on the subject. Method #2 kept the boost more stable then method #1 did for me.

It can cost anywhere from about $50 to $100. You can either buy a GM 3port for about ~$50 and splice the two wires into your stock BCS harness or purchase a full P&P setup from Tactrix for ~$100.

There is also word floating around the Ecuflash section that if you have an EGR blockoff and remove that unwanted junk one of those sensors is an OEM 3port solenoid that can be utilized for boost control.

+1 for method 2. I have my Blitz SBC i-D Spec R run essentially that way, boost source from turbo, output to wastegate.
