WOW got the WB hooked up...

So I just got my car last Saturday, and can tell it was modded before, had cams in it and bigger injectors. it runs OK, i knew it needed a tune but not this bad.... Got the wide-band in this morning, started driving around to let it warm up. Ive been getting crappy gas mileage so i wanted to see why. Here is the readings i got....

Idle - 13.0 - 14.2 = RICH

Normal Driving - 11.0 - 12.0 = WAY RICH

WOT - 11.8 - 12.3 = Little Lean for me...

So im glad my car is getting tuned tomorrow...

What mods? Based on your numbers it looks like you might have a dead O2.

280cams, 3in exhaust, 750cc injectors. i just got the car so i have no clue who tuned it. there is no 2nd o2, but there is also no check engine light so i think they disabled the 2nd o2

It would be the primary O2 that would be the dead one. If it has 750s in it and its cruising that rich (assuming the O2 is good) the trims are pegged and the car defaulted to open loop. The weird thing about that is it should be setting off a P017x code for being that rich if the O2 was working or a dead O2 code if it isnt working.

could be the front 02 but also if the injectors scale in the tune is off enough you can peg the fuel trims and cruise around rich and lean out the WOT section

No problem, is that what you needed? That one is tuned on Crome if I am remembering correctly.
