coilover help
hey i was looking at getting some coilovers and was looking at the std r3, godspeed type rs, and nex type ss was wondering if anyone has heard anything good or bad about these, and maybe if any of you have them on your evo what you might rate them from 1-10. Thanks
Of all the suspension I have dealt with in the last 10 years those are 3 I havent seen. I know of Nex springs and godspeed headers from back in the day but thats not terribly helpful.
I do know that if you are willing to spend 1500 on the STD R3 then another 300 for the AMR is well worth it. I have yet to run a suspension that I feel works everywhere and not just the street or just the track.

Another thing to note, AMR is now located in Seattle, so you don't have to deal with a company hundreds if not thousands of miles away when it comes to tech support or warranty work. That in itself is worth giving them a try, and that is why I will be getting their coils in the near future.
As icing on the cake, I just got off the phone with Andy at AMR. Awesome guy! I was discussing my future coils, as I wasn't sure how they went about choosing their spring rates etc.... Turns out they customize the coils for your application. You choose what you want, and they build it, dampers matched to the springs. You wont find anything better that is even remotely affordable, I suggest calling him up and figuring something out.
