Hey guys, help me search for the right evo. Looking for a Wicked White Close to stock or atleast taken care of. around 15-16k range. I want it to have a sunroof. (clean title)

I already had rally red GSR and regret selling it.i have seen some in cali goin for 12-13 but they are all sold so i know they are out there! I dont mind flying and driving home but not more than 1k miles from us. Thanks!

lol - no more than 3k miles? I suppose driving back from Brasil is out of the question then?

I'm not sure how well cars stand up to the environment in FL but I have seen some nice cars for sale down there. CA, AZ, and UT seem to be pretty good locations. You might also try TX.

I dont think Florida takes much of a toll on cars.

My car lived most of its life in Florida and it has very little rust. Nothing more than a car that lived in any other decent weathered area... if that makes sense.

My car is a '91.

^I figured. The only thing I could think of was the humidity, but for a car 7 years old or less shouldn't be an issue. Thankfully you wouldn't have to worry about salted roads in the winter!

FL is pretty hard on cars. from hurricans to the constant salt in the air and humidity.

And as a friend who is a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch once said "never do business in FL, you have almost no financial protection due to their relaxed legal structure"..... So buyer beware!

Ive heard that the salt water is not good for cars, but like I mentioned, my car spent 17 years is Florida and doesnt have any more wear and tear than a car that came from anywhere else in the nation. Its certainly in much better shape than places where they salt the roads.

Not sure if this RR will work out for you, but it is based close, seems like a nice low price, and seems to be coming from a good seller. Check it out.

Ah, well you were talking about fixing up that one with the red interior; I don't know if it had body damage but the rear bumper was certainly not affixed well. I wasn't sure how stuck on WW you were, but now I know.

its hard to shop for the "perfect" car (color/age/mileage/price).

sacrifices must be made. And if your unwilling to compromise then the search can take a while.

For example I ONLY wanted a Electric Blue IX with less than 30K miles on it for $20K. I had to wait like 2 or even 3 weeks and only found one but it had 32K miles and needed to be fixed up a little bit.

well now that I think about it, thats not a great example. But sometimes you get lucky you know? Not like the massive new years failure or anything...
