Just drove by the Everett meeting point off the highway yesterday. Found out there is a rest area right across from it. I was wondering if we should move across the highway??? lot of guys/gals are coming from Whidbey and its a good time to use the restroom!!!

That would be sort of back tracking for them. They can head straight to Lynnwood from that ferry instead of going to Everett. Also, if anyone cares, that rest area has a state patrol office right there.

I know that the ISLAND guys are all from north whidbey and they are all driving around so Everett or Lynwood doesnt make a different. I noticed the state Patron Office as well, however we are not doing anything illegal, just driving down the highways... I am fine either way myself as they are both in the same locationa and I lived 10 minutes away, a bathroom break will not be needed for me, I am just trying to make sure the Island guys gets to do that before heading down another hour thats all!!!

For now, we will remain on the rest area for meeting point unless the island guys tell me they want the restroom break!!!

^the rest area or the HOV Park & Ride? I'm pretty sure you meant the latter but I don't want anyone to be confused.

Angie brings up a good point, though. The 164th P&R is probably actually better for most of us. I had mentioned the HOV P&R previously cause I thought you guys were coming from the ferry. The 164th P&R is also pretty convenient and has a bigger/better lot.

Wow, this thing is this Saturday isn't it? I'll plan on merging in with the group as you guys roll by 50th. One of you guys want to shoot me a text when you leave the P&R so I can figure out a good intercept time? I have a couple of the Motorola FRS radios also if you guys are gonna be chattering on those.

^Sorry for the confusion on the meeting point! I had assumed you guys coming from Whidbey were taking a ferry and had mentioned the HOV P&R previously since it was close to that Starbucks.

The parking lot at 196th Ave is laid out better and won't force some people to head North before coming back down South. Thanks everyone!

I have a couple of those Motorolla talkabouts but need to find the charger. What channel should we pre-load? Someone will get ahold of you Minh; you should probably give me a call when I should be at 196th so I remember to ping you back when on the road.

You aren't going at all? Weaksauce! She makes some online calendar to help us track and then all of a sudden gets too good for us!
