Personally I'd recommend not getting off at EVT where you mentioned. Go a little further South and use the P&R that is off the HOV lane just South of the EVT mall exit. You wouldn't have to deal with any lights or really any bottlenecks (save for a stop sign). Those of us in the Monroe/Lynnwood/EVT area should be open to meet ya'll there.

 

Yeah, that's a really north part of Everett, and a PITA spot too. Most of the Everett peeps are in S. Everett and we usually meet up near 164th (between Everett and Lynnwood). If you guys don't want to meet more south, any of us regulars from here will probably just wait, watch, and merge when you guys go by.

It would probably be fine to mark the comment like that. I assume someone has mentioned that Starbucks location as a meeting spot to you. For context, check out the 2 locations on google maps, the South EVT P&R being less than 5mi down I-5 from Starbucks:

- Starbucks
- South Everett Freeway Station

That Starbucks is not the most direct route from I-5 while the P&R is directly off the freeway on the meridian/HOV side so it provides "off/on" access to I-5. It seems like having 2 stops in EVT is more than necessary.

 

Ok... talked to others, we have decided to use the park and ride as it works out to be better. (Yahu, thank you for the suggestion). And so updates #3 on the first post.

 

No worries. I assumed it was a suggested spot and having context of the area always helps! Looking forward to meeting new Evo owners! BTW - does anyone know if Mikey (BLKCarbonEvo) will be joining us? I think he is off catching bullets right now and haven't heard from him in a couple weeks.

 

I haven't seen him or his car around town since I believe he left and I usually pass him by once a week. So he probably isn't stateside.

 

So I am assumng Yahu I will be seeing you at the P&R. There will be about 6 of us coming down so we should be ok to wait there. Anyone else?
