what's the latest word on this show ? havent heard anything new but some of us here need to get time off in advance.

 

I think Dustin was gonna get in touch w/ them and post findings. I'm waiting anxiously for word also.

 

Ok I was gonna wait till I met with Jeff to tell about this but it got so under my skin i just gotta tell.

I got a call from Jeff Beaty at Korum today telling me in short, that the show has been cancelled. Before everyone goes off, I want to remind ya'll that we need to act professional about this, I'm PISSED OFF but I'm not going to publically slam ANYONE from KOrum in this thread.

Since this was going to be my first offical event as the new north coordinator, I am very upset at the excuse i got, however I am meeting with Jeff on Wednesday to try and recover some benefit out of this whole mess.

I also still want to do something at some point in the month of november. I'm actually thinking a TLNW thanksgiving dinner/potluck. This is the only good news to come out of this whole 'event'

I agree, let's not turn this into a flamefest. I still have hopes that we can work something out with Korum, if not now, in the future, and screaming names/obscenities won't be productive.

Well, if they cancel on us, that sucks. But, no harm done, right? Nobody went off and ordered $600 worth of shirts and vinyl decals- right? So, whatever, we'll just wait for the next thing to come along and we'll look at that, whether it's from Korum, Dick Hannah, whomever.
I like the idea of a Thanksgiving potluck! We should start planning that now and hope that the weather cooperates Somebody start the new thread

 

That's the same thing Dustin and I were discussing. For those that have or were planning on taking the day off to make this event, let's not cancel all plans. I'm down for having another gtg and having turkey or something. Actually, cancel the turkey. I hate turkey.

 

well, i know first hand how shady Korum Mits is.... I only worked there for a good 6 months until i was accused of stealing a lincoln navigator! So i am going to tell everyone that when it comes to Korum dont hold your breath. There is only a handful of respectable people there including the service manager and a couple of the salesman. Anyways, good luck and you TLNW guys should know that I'm always gonna be apart of the North West boys! take care, late!
