moving to alaska help!!!

I just got a job at ft.greely at the delta junction, about 100miles from fairbanks. Im debating weather to bring my evo up or sell it, I need to know if there is anyone around this area that knows how to work on our cars, and also what kind of things do I have to add to the car to make it safe to drive? I really don't want to sell my evo, please help.

Evos are the s**t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in snow. Remember these cars are based on Rally cars that race in any and all conditions. A good set of snow tires, and maybe a bit of ground clearance these cars are absolutely amazing. In 6" of snow, you can still launch amazingly hard.
