Shop Review: English Racing

Well I'm super pleased to say that they went the distance for me! (literally)

Took my car down for some work from Seattle, did the Portland tour while it was in the shop, and drove back up the next day. All went smooth.

Had a few issues that I called Lucas about and he, within hours (on the weekend mind you) gave me a call back to help resolve things. Lo' and behold the next day he flies up and comes out to my car to fix the problem. It was definitely pretty impressive and much appreciated.

English Racing definitely takes care of their customers. Just wanted to share my experience with others who may be considering a handful of shops to get their work done at.

Now to save up for some good EM and other goodies....

Thanks ER!

- Erich

So to avoid TTIWWOP:

(mods, please move if customer reviews go elsewhere. Thanks)

Find another vendor in the country that would literally fly to a customer to stand behind their work.

Whose plane is that?

Its my Dads plane. I can barely afford to pay for the gas let alone a Air plane. I try and fly it for him every few mons so it does not rot away. Not good for them to just sit all the time.

I think mods on planes are bad idea I do play with the AF every time for better power and more GPH. I did pick up 2 Knots leaning it out today

Weight reduction at least?

So where did you fly it into, Lucas? How long does the flight take you?

Could the Eastern WA, ID, MT folks have you fly somewhere for a dyno day sometime if they pay for the gas on top of the tuning?

I thought he meant "flew" figuratively not literally. Don't think you can top that easily . So whats the going rate to have you fly up and work on my car more often Lucas ?

Well I can only fly in good weather so in the NW that can be a challenge. Camas to Renton was about 45min.

Camas to Spokane would be around 1.4 hours depending on wind.

So it would be real hard to just plan a date and have it work. Maybe in the summer it would.

Plain burns around 16gal per hour and gas is from 4-5$ per gallon. So around $70-80hr in fuel to fly.

LOL Serously? Can anyone say customer service?

""Lo' and behold the next day he flies up and comes out to my car to fix the problem.""

Literally flew... damn, that's a step above and beyond.

Simply amazing. I mean we are all kind of guilty of being ERnutswingers, but this just proves why. This thread might just have to go in my signature.
