Wow, looks like we went just in time!

Herald Newspaper - Front Porch: Sultan gravel pit shooting site closes Monday
Target shooters take note: A gravel pit outside Sultan previously used by target shooters officially becomes a no-shooting area on Monday.

Snohomish County Executive Aaron Reardon signed an ordinance on Friday to create the no-shooting area, which encompasses the pit at the end of 116th Street SE. The ordinance takes effect 10 days after he signed it.

Reardon originally was going to let the ordinance take effect on its own on March 14. Residents living near the pit contacted his office, however, leading Reardon to pull the trigger earlier than expected.

Dangit!

WTF with the blues invading Jesus-land out here?!

I've been shooting with friends out in the sticks for years and can probably find somewhere else. It would be further North though.

Thats where I lived from 6 years old to 10 years old. Then I moved in with my mother in Bellevue.

Not the easiest adjustment to make.
