emissions help

ok i just got back from alaska 4 days ago. my tabs are do this month. i went get my emissions test and i failed my car has normal upgrades fp green, hks 272's, hks racing intake, ssqv, hks boost contoller, hks exhaust. nothing major. i forgot to reset the computer before i did emissions two codes were in the memory bank po420 and po507. note: i had a vacuum leak on two hoses one to the wastgate and one to the blowvalve before changing the hoses i used get those two codes and a check engine light once i fixed the problem the check engine disappeared but i forgot to reset the computer to clear codes. my question is should i just reset computer and then go in for retest since its free. my tabs expire end of the month

I'd just clear codes if you're pretty sure those codes were from the old hoses. I know Justin (WAIRONWORKER) has a scanner that can clear codes.

does that really work, cause i failed mine not to long ago. wondering if i could just reset the computer, better than getting a tune for a hefty price.

Depends on the codes. Some wont just stay away and pass the readiness test and the specific CEL as well.

All of it can be fixed with a tune...For good.

^this. I imagine the OP had a tune seeing that he's running an aftermarket turbo, cams, etc.

Once you get those check engine codes taken care of you'll be fine. I just rolled thru emissions 2 days ago and passed with no maf sensor, no catalyic converter, and 272 cams. Mods are in my signature and took 3 minutes to pass with no problems

This is in washington btw, since my location saids California. In California I'd have no way in hell to pass. Down there they pop your hood and do a sniffer test. Good thing I still have the military card and my dad's address to use up here
