Ok everyone. This is the offical "NEW NAME AND TEAM COLORS' thread.......

I want anyone who has an idea on a new name for the team.

I was talking to Jon and he came up with
Team Lan///Evo NW

I really like this one and it really isent off to far from what we have already..

Next topic is Team Colors. This would be for stickers, t-shirts, banners and what not..

As soon as we can get a name picked we can start on other stuff..

Both of these will be decided on at the next meeting which will be held on the 23rd of novemebr.

Come on guys I know some of you have good ideas in your heads Now its just time to use them.

A name can reflect:

who we are:
what we do:
what we have:
where we are:
why we exist:
when we were, are, and will be:
symbolism:
nothing whatsoever:

[NW]... I think this stands out for where we are.
[PNW] is even more defining

so as for the rest of the name... I don't know, maybe if we define a few of the above things we can pick out a name.

I honestly like TLNW

or how about this, just to put something out there....

 

I dig the PNW idea cuz it doesn't affiliate us with anything other than our region. And of course the diamond makes it evident what kind of cars we drive.

As for our slogan/motto, I was thinking something along the lines of "The evolution of the import car".

 

get creative.......i would do something like Lancer dynamics, or mitsu racing design or something that doesnt sound so regimented. nothing against what you guys are choosing for yourselves.

 

Oregon Territories Lan///Evo club? It describes where we are, what we drive and why we're together We could have a map of the old Oregon Territory as our symbol.

For decal etc colors, I vote white or silver. Mostly because they show up readily on glass

 

i'm not feelin the lan evo. it sounds incomplete. that and it still labels us lancers and evos, i thought we were changing the name so we dont label ourselfs and set limitations on the club. brian is right we shoudl be more creative, we're all friends just through out some names. everyone will be respectfull with they're critisism.


lets try to get at least 10 possibilities ready to vote on at the meet on the 23rd. i like brians idea of incorperating mitsu logo.

Me too that is a good one. But we need more then like 3 ideas so start throwing out ideas so we have more to vote on..
