New guy

Well, kinda
I've been lurking for a looooong time around here. I recently lost my SRT-4 to a car fire. The cause was unknown but many signs point to a sketchy part i purchased from a local company.
Anyway, i'm hoping to be in an evo 8 by the middle to end of summer. Looking to pay around 15k if anyone has one let me know.

Here's a few pictures of the SRT, and the fire.

Welcome! Sorry to hear about your fire! There were a couple great deals in the last few months, and there still might be something for you in the NW FS section. Good luck!

*edit: ^ Got my VIII from Sea-Auto also. They bring up auction cars from Cali so you never know what they might have...

WOW! Good thing no one was hurt. Good thing those rims didn't get toasted too, looks like you had the stockers on when the fire happened. Did the fire start inside car or the engine bay??

Best of luck finding an EVO

You should consider picking up an Evo at Auction. I know atleast one local evom member that has a connection who can go to the dealer auctions. There are great deals to be had this way, even if you end up putting a few grand into it to get it back to pristine you can be left with more $ to mod. Just a thought.

You had a nice SRT...it's always bad to hear something like this happening. What was the sketchy part you suspect if you don't mind me asking? Seems like it was quite a bad fire and started from the rear of the car possibly?

I think Karma got him back already Mork. Not that it was entirely his fault. Afterall, you did decide to use that part on your own behalf.
