Petition for English Racing Northend Location

Many a great things has been the result of a grass roots effort. So if you would like to see English Racing open a Northend location speak up. Remember businesses only work if they have customers, so this is not some theoretical question about whether you would like to simply have more options nearby. Rather this is meant to show them that we will support them as a business by being loyal customers if they come here.

I for one never want to have to figure out how to have my car trailored down to ER.

+1 for demand and obviously not good enough suppy for reputable shops in the northend (PERIOD)

we all know English Racing is the way to go for the following:
1. Tune/retune
2. Maintenance work like 30k, 60k service
3. Installs/Replacements (clutch job for example)
4. Motor builds
5. Custom fabrications
6. Crazy talk - they probably charge less than a regular shrink.
7. The list can go on and on but I need to go back to work...

So yeah, I will remain to be a loyal customer of ER and support their NE location!

But we all have to take into account things like rent, tax and the fact that they have 2 locations down south if you count the dyno storefront. Not to mention they live south, PIR is 30 mins away, there's Woodburn, on and on and on...

Don't get me wrong, I voted YES, of course I'd go to ER North, but I'd guess it's not us you have to convince it's Lukas!

I already talked to Aaron about this and im pretty sure a lot of us already asked the same question. It's just a matter of getting good mechanic/tuner to carry the English Racing name. We need good mechanic/tuner to work on our cars like they do. I think that's kinda hard to find.

Aaron would have to bounce between the locations (he lives kinda in the middle anyways). He just needs to find a protege (and I just happen to know an available engineer who owns an Evo 'cough Minh'). Besides if the problem really is not enough talent to handle the demand that seems like a good problem to have. Much better than not enough demand to keep the talent busy anyways.

Guys like Lucas and Aaron are hard to come by. I don't think asking for more than one location is realistic. I would fear for their sanity, inevitably it would mean alot of driving back and forth for the guys there. Sounds like more stress and invasion into personal time, time with family etc.

You poor fellas. Some people will never know how enjoyable it is to live just 20 minutes from their Camas shop and their dyno.

Low overhead is a huge plus... having to pay for two shops and not be able to manage them at the same time... sounds like a losing proposition.

How many of the following have secondary locations?

BuschurRacing
AWDMotorsports
AMS (the real one in Illinois)
???

I will say we are flattered and appreciate the thought, but...

We have to pay for 2 shops now as it is. That would be a 3rd shop and a 2nd dyno to have to pay for. The main fact is that there is only one team that can make what we do happen. Everyone in the shop has a very specific area of expertise and we all compliment each other well. You cant teach what everyone knows, you cant hope for the teamwork, you cant expect the results. It seems like a good way to lose alot of money.

Sorry guys, not going to happen in the foreseeable future.

p.s.- whats with the 3rd choice?

3rd choice is for whoever offers the lowest price talking to the tuner directly for 25 minutes or more.

Talking to me for 25 minutes or longer (if on the phone) results in a price hike...not discount
