Amsoil Dominator 10w-30 Racing Oil

Has anyone tried the AmsOil Dominator 10w-30 Racing engine oil in their ride? I'm thinking of trying this at the upcoming Alfa Track Day at Pacific on Wednesday, but wanted to get some feedback first.

Nothing to report. It works. Has more ingredients for those with high hp. Been using it for over 1 year.

High zddp oil is good for wear protection. I always just use it when breaking in cams and such. Other than that, you don't really need it for 20 min session track days. Not to mention they get thick fast and you probably have to change it out right after your track day. Too much hassle if you ask me.

Been using Amsoil Dominator 10w-30 Racing Oil 6 months... Really don't think you can go wrong with running it. After talking with other Amsoil users and lots of research, this is my motor oil of choice.

Yeah James. Like some of these guys are saying. It can't hurt and it's probably really good stuff for wear protection. You should give it a try if you want. Just remember to check the oil often because racing oil gets thick much quicker. And if you keep running your motor that way it won't be good.

Sounds like Royal Purple... I think I need to be running 20Wx50 in my motor though so I prob won't be running this but I have not found an oil that I'm dedicated to yet...

Should be fine, but watch for your oil light to flicker at idle when you come off the track. If this happens, try 10W-40 next time. I think many hard core trackers are running 20W-50.

i just switched to 15w50 Mobile 1 for track duty.... WAY cheaper than anything else and it was recommended to me from wheel to wheel drivers.. And if u happen to be an avid spirited driver off the track, its still a great oil to DD in

Amsoil Dominator FTMFW! Stuff is the bomb. I'm over 1000 miles since the oil change and the engine is still purring like a kitten. Never idled smoother, started easier, and I wound the f out the car at an autox yesterday to a best in class win. Worth every penny hands down Try it once, you'll agree.

I have had a "lovers" business account for some time, however synthetic lubs arent as much fun as water based.
