Well we do have a clan of holy rollers next door that don't like how rowdy we get, but we tell them to fugg off, and so far the cop that is 3 doors past them hasn't had a single issue with us.

Yea I have one of those pesky neighbors...tends to snoop around a bit too much and is too eager to call the cops when not needed.

Man do I miss living out in the country on 80 acres in eastern WA. Wake up with a hangover, **** off your back porch, and shoot guns all day long. Go 4 wheelin on your own property. These western WA people are so finicky I get them back though...cold start the evo at 3am in the garage and let it resonate throughout the neighborhood...take that beotches Most my neighbors are pretty friendly though...I provide them with good free drunk entertainment

The beauty of the thumpers next door is that I don't think they call the cops. That would be too direct and they are (like a lot of religulouses) passive aggressive.

Not unless Carwin learns how to throw more than 50 punches without gassing out.

You try throwing them bowling ***** around that he has connected to his forearms! The reason Carwin would win if they fought soon after their first fight is that he wouldn't blow his load like he did.

Realize that when your opponent goes down like Brock did, you are going to do exactly what Carwin did and I'd say 8 - 9 out of 10 refs will stop the fight. Big props to Rosenthal to see that Brock was not in any danger and didn't stop the fight (he was about to stop it a couple times).

With the adrenaline and the power punches that are being thrown, the majority of well trained fighters will punch themselves out in even less time. Carwin went at it for what, 2 minutes, 3 minutes?

Yea I would like to see that again. I definately think Carwin holds an advantage on the standup. I think both have semi trucks for hands but Carwin seems to have the better approach. Problem is like most in the UFC Carwin does have a weakness compared to Brock...and he showed that. If it goes to the ground Brock just has more ability down there.

OT of the UFC though anybody watch the free one on Sunday? I tell you what man that Jones guy is impressive. I haven't seen him come close to losing a fight. I mean the only "technical" one he lost because of a dq and he was destroying Hamil before the fight even got dq'd. He has some nasty elbows. I really think after maybe 1-2 more fights he might be a contendor for monkey man Silva...I would love to see him get his *** whooped imo. Cocky sob just rubs me the wrong way since his last fight...even if he is probably the best fighter out there.

^sonuva beeitch you just ruined it for me! I have it on the DVR and was waiting for my buddy to be open.

Jones is a badass.

*edit - I don't know wtf happened to Silva during that last fight. He was dominating the first couple rounds, clowning the other guy, then he almost seemed to "clown out" if that is possible. Almost like writer's block, or something.

He is cocky, but such a badass. He is actually a humble guy, just uses that angle to get into his opponent's head. Everyone thought Michael Jordon was a sweetheart, except the guys that had to play him and listen to his mouth up and down the court.

I would like to see Mir v. Carwin fight to see who gets another shot at Brock.

As for Jones, he needs more time to develop. He is not ready for the likes of Machida or Shogun.

You know who needs to s-kick either of those two is Silva (assuming he is over his "clown out" by now).

Silva already said he wont fight Machida (friends) and is probably a big part of him not wanting to move up to 205. Silva vs Shogun at a 190 catch weight would be epic though.

f-it, Silva vs Shogun @ 205!

I always forget Silva and Machida are friends. Hell, Silva and Wanderlei used to be (I was big into Pride) but Wanderlei hates Silva now.

I need a count, otherwise I'll just head to the Lime and watch this. This is what I see right now:
- Jason: interested, but we've heard that before!
- Keenan: interested
- Shangie: possibly/probably
- Derek: too far
- John: down

Sounds kinda thin. I texted Jordon last night, but haven't heard back. Haven't heard from Samy/Kyle, John (Azn), Minh (also Azn, haha), any other Southies, Tyler, Eric, etc., etc.

I think we need some BBQ to go with the beer and UFC. This meet needs more testosterone!
