I needs some coils for trouble shooting a mis-fire
Helpz.
My stupid car has developed a nice misfire. Started during my last track day. Went and did some street pulls logging all the data and AFR, timing, boost, airflow are all good. I've turned the boost down and put new plugs in and it still is there. I think it's ignition related - as my coils etc are all stock and have about 100K on them.
SO.
I'm looking for someone able to let me swap in some coils and make a few pulls to see if this is the issue. Stock coils would be OK, aftermarket non-cdi would be even better if it's a plug and play affair. I've put off upgrading my coils because I haven't had to. But if aftermarket ones solved the problem I would buy them. But I want to tests this before I go spend the money.
Let me know if you can help, Mmmm-Kay.

Should hit up spoolinup cop setup for 300 bones. Probably be noticable at your power level.
Just curious have you done any type of leak down test or compression test lately? More than likely the coils but other more in depth problems can cause what you describe as well.

Jared, do you still work in the Redmond-ish area? I don't have my car here today, but I can tomorrow. I can bring my stock setup (about 40k on that) and my car has a Sparktech setup on it now. LMK.

I'm good. Keith came over and we tried his coils after we did a compression test. Compression was nice and strong at about 140 psi in each cylinder. Kieths coils made things better but there was still a hint of misfire on some pulls. Keith didn't really notice, he was in awe of the wastegate dump loudness. But I'm used to the car and could still feel/hear it.
I'll look into the Spoolin' Up, it seems like ignition is the problem. As Kieth's stock coils helped.
