New Turbo/Engine Set Up
J-Speed Header
I bought the header used for a good price from Ramses and decided to have it ceramic coating. Here is what i found online about it. Situated in the Gunma prefecture, J Speed regularly compete in rally events throughout Japan and have developed this experience into a range of performance parts for a range of vehicles.

I would also like to give thanks for Andre's help at Pina Motorsports for working and communicating with me, Ramses for the awesome J-Speed manifold and not to bash anyone but I would like to thank the company who took 3 months to get me my parts after I had already payed for them, not to give it away but Boy are they Slow.
Cool info about your work. Does it pay pretty well? How often are you "deployed" south? Please tell me this is not the shop where your car was being "tuned" for a month. That would not be what I consider "very satisfied." Was that somewhere else?
The numbers were well worth the wait and it was a very good tune. My car doesnt cold idle right now with the new tune... Andrew is trying to help me out with that issue
^stalls? let ER know, too. They want you to be satisified with your tune, maing. They should be able to take your tune, modify it a bit for issues you have, and send you something for Andrew to flash.
Idk why you would get a tune from English, then have an issue, and talk to a guy who is known for stealing tunes from the exact people who just tuned your car...moley moley?
Or why you'd get a tune and waste your money when you like Andre's tunes better......

^ please speak about your personal experiences with Andre or your opinion means peanuts...
I went to English to convert to SD. Andre let me know he was not familiar with it enough and let me know before wrecking my car...
And ive been working with Forsaken to the bugs worked out so its alllll goood!
( i ask a simple question, and everyone starts drinkin their haterade )

I dont know too much about Andre as a tuner other than he tuned my car for MAP sensor on my AEM EMS and that was fine.
Personally I met Andre through a friend of mine who knew him and before deciding to have my engine done through him he took time out of his busy schedule on several occasions to talk things over with me.
Another thing I really like about dealing with Andre is the fact that I do almost all of the work on my evo and he has had no problems working with me on that.
As far as the engine build goes I am happy to have chose him instead of my first option which was the supplier I hinted to earlier who took over 3 months to get me my parts. Pina Motorsports and EG are both great shops and I plan on giving my business to both of them.

My sister her Husband is Diver at Gulf of Mexico too! they moved to Lafayette, LA and work for CAL Dive company.. and what u work for who?

1. Its really hard hot work and at first your not a Diver you are called a tender AKA *****, Worm, EXt. If you make it past the first years 80% attrition rate you are doing good.
2. Most boats/barges are not the nicest places to live and all I can say is I really miss Seattle food when I am gone. Mmmmmm Dim Sum, Thai, Japanese, ext.
3. How stable is your Marriage/Relationships. Not all boats have phone or internet.
4. Starting out you may work not work enough because there has not been a Hurricane to generate work, If there has been a big hurricane then your company will probably want you to work as much as possible.
The nice thing about this industry is once you endure 3-4 years of misery you can end up as a Diver, a Tech, or a Life Support Technician and make a decent living and only work 6 months a year.
LMK if you have any other questions

I wish I had had the money to buy that header when Ramses put it up for sale... that looks so good after the coating!!
As for the tuning issue, go with who you feel comfortable with. And it seems SD has a lot of issues with cold start/idle. It's soooo nice once the car is warm though, lol.

I apologise for the threadjack in advance....
Is there any possibility you are coming to the Hood River Run? If not I can try to meet up sometime this weekend to take a look if you are going to be around up north. Cold idle stuff is usually pretty specific so I can take a look and get it fixed.

I hope you aren't referring to me regarding haterade, Eric. I am stating facts that were given to you by me. I would not have my car at a shop for close to a month to be tuned. As far as the work they do, or whether they steal, I have no experience so can't comment on any of that.
Sorry OP, and thanks for the info. I was just curious; I think I'm too claustrophobic to be in that line of work.
