1991 si civic

ok i just got a 1991 si civic and it wont start it turns over so i was thinking maybe there is no gas so i put some in and it still just turns over no start any ideas?

all kinds of things come to mind - everything as simple as what do the spark plugs look like? Bad cables? Bad distributor?

Thats what I'd do - investigate the ignition system.
