What do we drive if we dont have Evo's? Discuss...

Hi Guys,

I saw this on our local forums.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJaiy...layer_embedded

Racing Greed is a local tuner who uses a Mustang Dyno. That Supra holds the highest record to date. The record holder used to be a DSM...

Just wanted to share so you guys have an idea what Canadians work on/drive besides hondas and nissans.

If we have gotten the viii and ix the same time as the rest of the North America did, I wouldnt be surprised if the title holder is an Evo.

I read that its set up as a street car = pointless IMO because its too much power on the streets.

What record does that supra hold? 'cause there've been 1000-1300whp supras here in the states for yeeeeeeaaaaaaarrs. One of em is even on the EvoM forums, look up vegasse. He has a 1300 hp twin turbo lambo too.

As for me, Evo (x2) is my only car, but hopefully in the near future I'll be picking up another Land Cruiser, UZJ100 this time. Last one was a FZJ80, and by far one of the BEST vehicles I've ever owned.

Next project: help my bro build the DSM I'm gonna make him buy.

After: either an EG coupe, blacked out, K20 turbo, 600 whp street terror, or IS300 turbo.

I have a buddy who might be selling his 700+ hp r33 v-spec. Pm me if you're truly interested. I also have another buddy that might sell his 500+ hp r34 v-spec for the right price

The answer is DSMs or what ever this local shop builds/tunes!

Here are some vids of some of the higher HP cars at the local shop that did my awesome E85 tune four years ago.

This TT stang has gone on to put down 1266hp and I believe is the highest HP on the dyno at DB Performance so far.

It's too bad that nice clean R34's cost 60k+ :-/

I wouldn't mind having one, but the legality is still a bit of a grey area. R33's are, to my knowledge, the only ones that can be registered now, without great expense.

Ive been wanting to do a 98+ S10 pickup with something like a 5.3l and AWD drivetrain from like the Astrovan. Or maybe just keep the 4wd so I can have a locked center diff when I wanna have fun

I have the Evo, but I am in the market for a '78-'89 911. Dad has a 996 and hopefully in about 5 years or so I will look into a 993. I love mine Porsche!

Unfortunately I drive, and have been driving this POFS S10. I just hope she stays together as she had a tough life in Reno before I got her.
