Is the Northwest Subaru Territory?
There has to be five other EVO's around Oak Harbor besides mine! Only a couple of STi's...
I usually see two or three a day. Saw a black one, a silver one and a yellow one today. I'm sure that there is another black one cruising around here too plus a red one parked at the local mexican food resturaunt. I just recently saw IX for sale at a coffee shop I drive by on my way to work.
Actually now that I think about it I've seen a white Evo, a yellow Evo, a red Evo, 3 different silver Evo's and 2 black Evo's within the last month around my area. Never saw any of these until I bought mine and then it was like.. oh theres one and another one... oh look another one HA!
Still haven't met anyone though.

Sad truth is that YES, Subaru out numbers EVOs by a LONG shot. But the other truth is that EVO out run Subaru by a long shot too
In the past 6 years, teaching Rally Driving to 95% SUBARU drivers, the ONE thing that stands out more than any other factor is the EVO Drivers tend to me Pansies and Trailer Queens while Subaru owners are not afraid to get dirty. That "utilitarian" view is why I think that the PNW is Subaru territory.
That being said, I've since converted both a FACTORY Subaru Driver AND the Queen of the Subbie-ites, Yes "Subbie Gal" herself, to public acknowledgment that the EVO is the better car.
Which is SOOOO fun at a Rally School dominated by Subaru enthusiasts.
When it comes to representing EVO in the trenches, I do my part... where are the rest of you?

There are a few guys out there like Brandon03evo (and Scott, of course) who is out there representing the Evos like they should be. A few weeks back he shut down a near 700whp 2010 GT500. Last night, the Nissan guys were amazed that he was street driving a 660whp car. They were loving it. Brandon has no problem throwing down with the quickest of them. We need more local Evos out on the streets like him.
I do my part to support the Mitsu crowd, but my car is nowhere near the caliber some of the high horsepower Evos are at, but yet, a lot of people can't believe my car is capable of anything.

I see so many Subaru's in a day. I can even recall yesterday, that I saw 2 wrx's 4 sti's and 2 evo's for the day. The 2 evo's meaning my own evo which I was riding in and another that was parked. I barely see any evo's on the road but when I see one i always throw up the peace sign showing some evo owner love!
I am selling both my evos and buying a bugeye, It's something about that car that talks to me. I have owned 2 EVO and a JDM GC8 WRX, and they both have there ups and downs. I love the evo more for performance but Subies just appeal to me more looks wise. IF I wasn't so cheap I would keep my IX MR and buy a 06 STI and have the best of both worlds.
Lol my sty sticker on the back doesn't help with getting all the glares from suby owners next time I might just drive my wrx up instead

Yep, while there are a lot more Evo's on the road now days, I still see a lot more Scooby's than I do Evo's. Most of the Scooby drivers only do intake, exhaust and tune if anything, whereas the Evo's I see driving around are mildly modded like mine or have some serious work done to them. There are a handful of stockies running around but those are the ones you wanna buy when you get a new one

New here, my shop is open for a meet any saturday, i just got a 2009 ralliart, would be crazy to see the parking lot full of Mitsubishi's, my shop is next to Outback Automotive, and they aways have 20 or more cars out there every saturday.
