I would have Informed the official that since my car is AWD I should not be required to use a cage =).The driver got disquaified b/c he didn't have a cage

I thought I was the only person who saw that!!!
That made me mad. In Cali isn't it for every car faster than 10 seconds you need a roll cage?
All those old gear heads are just mad because they know that Evo would of easily murdered those muscle cars.
I love how that STi lost though hahahha, that dude couldnt launch for ****!

Just remember one thing guys... yeah the Evo is a phenomenal car for what it is, but in the end, there really IS no replacement for displacement. Boost + Big block can mean major major power, and it stresses, if built correctly, the motor far less.

Pinks All Out is all about consistency, learned that lesson last year at the Seattle PAO event.
These are the reasons we see so few import cars in PAO
I'm converting my DSM to an automatic transmission and will try again.
John-

- botch the launch and your hosed
- miss a shift and you are hosed!
- shift 200 rpm too soon or too late and get beat or break out of your bracket!
- break something and you are hosed

Agree. Its very difficult being consistent in the Evo.
Tommy is pretty a pretty cool dude and is known for his shop here in Denver called Street Concepts (sc-power.com). Has done some welding work on my car with nice results.
His clothing line (Fast) makes a few shirts. This is my favorite-

It was great seeing him on TV the other night. I watched it on On Demand (Comcast). Too bad he got the boot.
