North End Dyno Day Nov 20th
Please read entire post!
We are looking for 8 to 10 cars this time around
Saturday November 20th
Where: Drift office @ Auburn (at there new shop)
1535 Auburn way North
Auburn WA, 98002
Dyno Jet AWD
TUNERS: Lucas English and Aaron (JohnBradley)
Time: We'll start at 11:00 AM
Please note that pricing has changed for this dyno day. The prices we had been using were based off of 3 pulls. Everyone at the dyno day can attest to the fact that almost no car was limited to three pulls. The pricing structure is being changed for this reason.
Going from a stock turbo (8 or 9) to a bigger turbo, will put you into the new tune category.
Dyno price for new tunes will be $100
dyno price for retunes will be $60
Retune – 100
full tune- 200
Additional charges
Add meth - +50 (250)
Add larger injectors- +100 (300)
Add both- +150 (350)
E85- 300
E85 and limp home gas map- 450
AEM- 500
DSMlink- 150
Spark plug covers and undertrays must be off before you get on the dyno! There have been alot of people the last 2 dyno days that have not been listening to this warning. If your undertray is not off there will be a nonnegotiable $20 fee to remove it and another $20 to reinstall it.
YOU MUST HAVE YOUR SPARKPLUG COVER AND UNDERTRAY OFF

Sweet Jesus Christmas has come early!
A few questions, how much of the under tray or what pieces do you need removed?
I have an Evo 9 MR, with t.be. and c.a.i, needs a full ecu tune, has 41K what plugs do you recommend I buy for it before the tune,
Do Evo's have a fuel filter? can't seem to find it,
Is the stock MR boost guage good enough for tuning, or should I upgrade,
Im kinda of new.
Thanks

to add to above questions, so if I need a new tune, do I add the $200 and the $100 for dyno? or the full $200 new tune include the dyno?
also, a full tune include from beginning to end or just limited time and if time run out then I'm stuck with a half complete tune?

There are three pieces to the undertray (if none are missing), and you'll have to remove all three. It's easy but tedious, as there are like 25 plastic fasteners that have to come out.
If you're running factory boost you won't need anything else for you car, except maybe a basic tune up if you didn't perform that when you bought it.
If you plan to push over factory boost levels, get a Walbro 255lph fuel pump. The kit is like 110, and it takes 20 minutes to install. If anything it's cheap insurance.

i suggest you jack up the boost using an MBC. here is the one i use:

eff they have it in purple now?! i should have bought the purple. :P anyway, if you decide to do this, i suggest you turn it all the way down, so you get 10psi max (wastegate pressure). if you do turn it up back to factory boost, you might risk overboosting which is not good. the tuner will adjust this for you during the tuning process. at the end of the day, make sure its sitting on a safe place and never even touch it again.
PS: make sure you swap the spring in the MBC, as there are two kinds.
never seen an mr gauge so if it goes more than 25-26 psi, you are fine....

I am running NGK bpr7es which is 1 heat range colder than stock and cheap enough (non-lazer-iridium tip) to change every 3000 miles.
If I settle up by then as planned, I might be on the list for a failsafe tune (said: straight pump for my peace of mind). Anyway to have someone drive my car up? Work has been toight!

BOOM!
