Any oregon weekly meets?
I'd love to get a semi weekly/monthly meet going the meets we have here in Milwaukie are usually just a day in advance kinda sparatic like this weekend I wanna get a cruise to seaside an get on the beach if anyones interested usually it's only me with an evo but I'd love to meet other fellow evo owners/enthusiasts around the area.
Hmm, Maybe Ill start setting up a Semi-weekly or monthly hangout at various restaurants around Portland. We'll have to wait till the weather cleans up but it'll be nice to meat the rest of the Portland Evo'ers.
What nights are good/no-good for people? I ski pretty much every thursday and sat or sunday.

I didn't think Cobb was that lame.
When they weren't running the dyno, we were free to roam the shop. Matt Kincaid is a super nice, down to earth guy who has respect for all makes, even though he has one of the fastest Subarus in the country. Even Tim Bailey, a guy who got started by tuning Subarus, has lots of respect for the 4G63 and will admit that the EJ series do not perform like our 4Gs. He's also been playing with the R35 a lot lately, too, and is more than wiling to BS about it. There was also free food and drinks, I can't complain about that.
I rode down there with Aaron from English in his Evo, Kristen and Jake (red 1g, helps out at English some days) made it down as well in Kristens black IX.
If we can get more of the Evo community to show up to it, it will get better, you just can't walk in with a narrow mind and the whole us vs. them mentality.
Cobb Tuning puts out products for the Evo as well, although they are not as heavily focused on as the Subarus.

I think I was misunderstood lol. I enjoyed being there, it would just be nice to get more evo owners to show. I think there was another X and someone had a wingless 8/9 didn't really get a good look at it. And then whoever owns the GG 9 that works at the shop. But yeah cobb was an excellent host. Tim tuned my car about a month back and I'm really happy with how that turned out. Plus can't complain about free food n drinks
. Saw aother 08 silver X this morning on 84 westbound. He hopped on at the 205 junction headed toward ptown.
Had a schedule conflict for their last meet but will definetly try to make it to next months. Would be great to meet some local evo lovers, not a lot of us. And a thumbs up for Tim @ COBB, he did my first tune and will be doing my next tune on 3/25. :-)
I'm sure Tim is a good tuner, but Aaron has tuned more evo's in the NW than anyone with far more evo specific accomplishments.
You guys should be calling up English Racing for the Midget Spec!

Well, I was at Cobb too with my little Sportback, have to say though, I spent most of my time talking to Aaron, he was even nice enough to show me his car.
So, maybe we should be doing a monthly meet at English?
I like the guys at Cobb, but it does seem to be more of a Mazda/sub/BMW group

Ok, I'm gonna throw a date out there. March 20th or 21st. BJ Pizza, Sometime around noon.
The idea would be to do a different place each time, have some good eats and talk cars. Just need to make sure we pick places with enough open parking, and maybe even venture up into vantuky (gasp!) a few times
