Almost none of my car friends are actually car guys anymore, and the ones that are arent single anymore . I gotta meet more people in portland that actually still do car stuff.

 

I tell you if I lived down there I would do a weekly meet at Acropolis. Seriously, why not get your steak on, drink on, and enjoy the sights in a nice atmosphere like that! Everyone I've taken there agrees that would be a perfect spot for a Friday lunch, or something like that.

 

Hah, and my buddy lives within walking distance too..

Side note, did you know they have a drive through? Thats how awesome Acrop is

 

Dallas, when the weather starts to get nice again, the turn out at the Hillsboro Sonic is pretty decent. It's a very mixed crowd, but there are some high horsepower cars that come out. We'll go for a cruise afterward sometimes.

Otherwise, nobody really cares to stand out in the rain and talk cars.

There is a meet on January 9th at 11:00am at the Portland State.

What day/time are the Sonic meets? I live less than a mile from there so I'll go this year for sure.

 

I'd be down to get together for a drive on a non-rainy weekend day.

 

What kind of meet? We might be skiing, if not maybe Ill try to make it.

 

Mostly Subaru, sounds like a couple Evos will show up, too. I probably won't be there.

I'm not sure I would have time to meet up every week but I intend to go to PIR a lot on the weekends when the weather's nice.

 

And how is the food "served" at the Drive Through? Can't image it would anywhere near the same as "dine in".

I know the only chance in hell my wife will let me go to an Evo meet is if I bring the kids along.

 

We usually go to Sonic on friday nights. There will usually always be someone there either night whenever the sun is down, although I never did go on a saturday. Last time we went though was beginning of fall and there wasn't anybody there. End of spring and all through the summer is the time to go. I don't live close enough to just drop by like McDougal, otherwise I'd keep a closer eye on it.
