Seahawks 12th Man
Very cool! too bad these are about the easiest tickets to get (the game in general, not necessarily the suite action). It is still good to see the hawks go for the long-term benefit. For the short-term, they need to dump Hass; maybe relegate him to consultant.
I don't see Chuck as the man either. Seattle needs a QB. At least one that the Seattle defense isn't fighting against!

Seattle has about as much of a chance of winning this game, as they do have rights to even BE in this game.
Strangely, this is the same % chance that Vegas gave them of winning the Super Bowl. 0.02% (Do not confuse that with 2%)

Seattle has every right to be in this game. They tied with St. Louis for W-L and had the best record in their divisional games compared to the other teams in their division. It isn't their fault that the division sucked donkey ***** this year.
When they played NO earlier this year they started off good, but trading TD for FG with the champs won't win you a football game.
I do almost feel like putting $100 on their 100:1 odds!

those are the odds and they do have every right to be in the game last weeks game was intense and you could tell they brought theyre game. im glad after changing the lineup this year almost 80% which for a team to be in the playoffs and making that much change is amazing in its self.
^agreed. If they didn't have Hass fighting against them in a few of those games, it could be a different story. IMO the top improvements need to be made at:
- QB
- QB
- DB (this is an area of inconsistency)
- Running game (you can call this O-line or the actual backs)
IMO, special teams and the up-front D won a couple games, barely beating Hass' attempt to lose them!

disagree. They have no right.
New York Giants beat the Seahawks by 36 points. (Box score here: http://espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=301107026)
I'll pause while you let that sink in..... 36 points.....
AND finished 10-6. And didnt make it to the playoffs. If the purpose of the playoffs is to find out who is the best team, and have a elimination tournament with one winner, it seems logical to want the teams with the best record to battle for top honors.
Does the car that placed 8th in a race (Williams F1 for example in motorsports) win the championship? No. They place 8th. Does the team who places 8th deserve a spot in the playoffs when only the top 6 should?

Ryan, you are a retard when it comes to sports, at least non-motorsports. The Seahawks suck, no one is arguing that, but if they can win their division then they have every right to be in the playoffs. Should it be done differently? Possibly, but the fact of the matter is that it isn't done differently today, so they have the right to be there.
Do they deserve to be in the playoffs over the NYG? Based on record and a good ol' fashioned AW, certainly not "more" than the NYG. Based on the fact that the Seahawks are in a weak division, the answer is yes.
I suppose if you want to only count the top teams then we should do away with divisions as well. Hell, let's cut out the NFC and AFC, the AL and the NL. Let's get real crazy and do away with Prototypes and Touring classes in Le Mans Series too!!! Ruh-tard.

^??? Mario sez: "you make-a no sense-a!"
NBA still has conferences so per your argument, there will be teams that "don't have a right" to be in the playoffs vs other teams.
Regardless, my point has not been refuted. The way things are laid out today, the Seahawks have the right to be there regardless of what you or anyone else "thinks." You can ask Pat Sajak for all the extra "o's" be added to the word "proven" but it still won't prove your point.
