I get about 2 years out of my PIAAs and am on set #3 now. Are the Bosch/Tricos usable for as long (honest question)?

I use the stock blades and I've only been through two sets since 7/31/06 when I bought the car, and I have 93k on her.

As far as rain sensing wipers, they are available on the '11's, both Lancer and Evo. The packages available have changed dramatically however, and gone is the ability to have an MR with the big wing on it. They all will come with the trunk lip by the looks of it.

^you must either wash your car and maintain your stock blades religiously, or you don't care how the wiper sounds and the windshield looks after being wiped. I'm **** about both of those points.

Really? Turn them on the intermittent setting and watch them go from intermittent to the low setting when you get above 25-30mph, then back to intermittent when you come to a stop.

Did you think speed sensitive wipers were just a dsm thing?

I wash my car a lot.

So here is another quirk of the 2010 line, if on intermittent setting and you use the washer fluid, it sprays each time the wipers activate. Did it by mistake today and thought the washer fluid pump was going out. LOL

Yahu beat me to it. You wash the car a lot. I average washing mine about once a month and it goes to once every two months in the winter. I went through the stockers in 6 months or so.

Edit meant once every two months in winter, not twice a month

Just to add I had Valeo's on my hooride for about 4yrs. Still worked quite well and just started to streak. Then I bought Bosch Evolution's recently from Wal-Mart, what a brain fart that was.

Ok, I literally stared at the wipers and even started counting the seconds in between wipes. It feels the same no matter what. Might be because it is an 8 RS. The X however has so many intermitent settings, it will satisfy any **** retentive wiper speed setting peeps.

Well I know this works fo sho because I tested it out on the way to ER today in the horrible rain. Intermittent below 25mph is a slower speed!
