Got a super custom intake project...

DANIEL DONT SAY ANYTHING!!! You're the only one on the board who knows.

I've always got a hair up my **** to try new things and be different (in a good perfomance and purpose way, not a ricer way). Upon coming up with a solution for replacing my make shift 3" non recirculated intake, I came up with quite a different idea I'd like to share......IF it works/fits.

Thats all for now. I will keep you guys posted as I receive the part and install it. I would also be more than happy to give it a shot and dyno the car to see if it actually gains me any extra HP. Im 95% sure it'll work and fit perfect. If not.....Ill make it fit.

I hereby copywrite that name if it works. I will start a thread in DIY entitled "Make your own Super Secret Turbonator Intake".

Hopefully it doesnt disappoint. I know it'll be different to say the least. Either Ill get praised, get flamed, or both at the same time.

Nice. I'm actually working with a local shop on making a reasonably priced 8/9 intake tube w/ recirc or without right now since everyone else sells a chunk of pipe with a recirc welded on for $200

It's ludicrous.

In for results!

Yeah, brand name intakes are rediculously overpriced. $200-$400 for a pipe and most are heavy *** dense *** mild steel.

I dont think I've ever seen what Im attempting to do be done before, however Ill share the wealth on what needs to be done once I get some R&D done. I will probably dyno again to see if I actually gain anything with it.

BIG throttle body mounted on turbo inlet. No recirc required, no BOV required. turbo operates in a vacuum between shifts.

Thats my guess.
