OMG! I haven't had much luck with my Volks either. Don't feel bad. I haven't bent mine yet, but I've curbed on once, and my buddy let one drop on its face. So upsetting.

Yeah, I have no idea what I hit. Keep looking for evidence everyday on the way to work and I see nothing.

Crap, are you one of the other 2 or 3 AS's around Olympia/Lacey area that I see rolling around but aren't in the forum or community? Describe your ride, I may have seen you around. Im the wingless AS IX that HAD the white Volk CE28N's in this thread. Im literally everywhere around Lacey/Oly.

One thing I'd like to mention, check and see if there is any lateral runout when they spin the wheel on the balancer, a lot of times, it looks like the face of the wheel is intact, but what often happens is that the face is actually "sucked" in towards the back of the wheel, which effectively ruins the wheel. If that happens, some wheel shops can make the wheel "serviceable" but it won't ever be quite perfect. Just a heads up.

I actually took the car to Les Schwab the afternoon it happened and they spun it for me. They said it was fine but managed to miss the damage to the inside lip. Upon closer inspection, it does look like thats the only part that took the direct hit of whatever I hit. That is believable as well since Im running negative camber. The tire even stayed sealed and I didnt lose a bit of air the whole day.
