You don't want too much pad for the tire or you'll be into the ABS all day. A good quality fluid like Motul is a must and it's gotta be fresh if you live in an area with any rain or humidity. Does it ever rain in Portland?

Glad to see you had a good time Lucas, for my track pads I used CL6E's. They are not the cheapest pad 335 but they stopped my car repeatedly from 150 to 60 on the front straight and work well with my Azenith street tires.
Hope to see you at the next event.

I had a good time. It was their performance driving school which I go to every year which is held at BMP. Spun the car on the 2nd afternoon session though (stopped it about 10-15 feet from the wall) and that shook my confidence a bit.

What's ABS? That's why you take an RS, strip it bare, and go have fun.

If you're constantly sliding and burning past turns on a road course without ABS, you are just too gangster for your own good.

I've seen that wall take out some cars before haha. Fortunately they took most of it out on the old taxi way end. I spun one time near the large ditch/embankment and definitely a pucker moment.

definitely put some motul rbf600 in there, cheap and easy to find. i switch to front race pads the night before an event and back to street pads when done the event. rear does little so i use street friendly pads and leave em in. still on 2nd set of rear pads, had 4 different fronts already. like jid 2 mentioned, raybestos st-43s rock!

I personally saw two cars get scragged at BMP last year. Its tough to win against the jersey barriers...

Nice job Luke!

You're on your bump stops

I will second... GIRODISC. ST-43 pads were AMAZING. Call up Martin... i think he's in need of work on his personal Evo AND a tune.... I smell trading?

I would get...

2 pc girodisc rotors, ST-43's F&R, ss lines, mutul RBF660, girodisc Ti backing pads, and rebuild your brembos. Check your wheel bearings too. don't forget brake ducting! Jid2 (jared) and martin (girodisc) have some cost effective solutions.
