Got the Road Race Bug Video from my 1st time

So I was able to take the Cascade Sports Car Club School. Was a awesome school and my instructor was great.

I was able to get signed off by my instructor and they said I could even apply for my novice racing license if I wanted.

When I talk to alot of people in the past about road racing and they always talk about this our that with there car not good enough for road racing. Well after this event it really shows if your car runs right it can go around the track and have fun. You just drive with in you and your cars limits and it does not matter if you are the fastest and from what I learned if you come out to the road course wanting to be the fastest you might not want to be there because you can hurt yourself, car or others.

The next school is on the April 29th which I am signing my wife up for and we will both race the EVO since I can move up to the next class.

The only mod I want to do is put in some race pads.

Here is my supper short Video

I've been trying to explain that to people for years. You don't need slicks, full coilovers, etc etc. You just need good brakes and to show up and run. To me it's massively fun, you always find someone (or they find you) that's near your pace and you've got a race!

That's awesome you got out and did it. Of course you had fun, I don't see how anyone, even driving a '75 rabbit wouldn't

It's great to get signed off but it's better to have a good instructor with you. You'll learn twice as much twice as fast. I've discovered some instructors will get out of the car because they're lazy or scared.

My Instructor had a great time and yes I agree on having a instructor in as much as you can to learn from. He never got out of my car the whole day. I hope to have a good instructor with me for at least a few more events.

I guess I was just happy with how I did.

That looks like a lot of fun. Someday I definitely want to attend a lapping day.

Awesome day out in PIR Lucas!
I tried to get footage of your car, but I was too far into the paddock. Maybe next time, I'll have footage of you trying to chase me.

Maybe we should see about getting a group discount if enough of us sign up for the April class. I would be in.

What kind of mods did the car have to make 400whp? It looked really composed going around the track.

I love PIR and I love Cascade Sports Car Club! We always sign up for their track days and so far all of the instructor have been great. The class room session is very informative and i like that they take the time to make the day about you.

I could watch your video all day.

PIR looks like a good track to run at...The Cascade Sports Car Club has some good instructors. I need to get out to PIR this spring/summer. I keep meaning to make a trip down with the Corvette Marque Club when they run their lapping day down there. I've only run with them at Pacific Raceways...Good looking video tho!
