(WA) Emerald City Muscle - Performance Oriented Forum

Hey guys and gals! My name is David and I just wanted to extend you guys an invitation to a forum I just got done making! The basic premise is to get all the performance oriented fellas all together under one forum. I came from the Midwest and over there we would always get together and cruise and have some fun with all different kinds of make and models. I thought it would be nice to have the same here in Seattle hence why I made the forum. I call it "Emerald City Muscle"! It doesn't only pertain to muscle cars but I like the sound of it and it's basically a variation of the forum we have back in the Midwest (brewcitymuscle.com). Anyways, come check us out and join if you like what you see! Like I've stated before, this is a performance oriented forum so we're all about speed

Hope to see you guys around!

not sure you linked correctly, but I'm assuming this will be deleted, or at least the link will be.

Link is fixed... Is there a way I can become affiliated with this forum so I can keep this thread up? I'd like to invite as many fast cars as I can from Seattle

Straight line fast? That would pertain to 95% of muscle.

375AWHP isn't exactly slow in a straight line either...

EDIT: Also, I think the fastest car so far is a JAPANESE car. Mk3 Supra!

Seems like there is room in the NW for another performance oriented auto forum, but you need a hook. What is Emerald City Muscle going to offer people that other sites don't?

Maybe a couple ideas:
- Provide information. Like a comprehensive schedule of local car events. Something to bridge the lines between the various communities. Of course this only works if everyone wants to co-mingle.
- Save people money. Maybe get local body shops, parts suppliers, window tinting, etc., to offer a small discount to members. If your site provides them business, its win win.
- Make stuff happen. Organize events. Rent track time. Get local people interested in the various aspects of motorsports.

Anyways, best of luck. I will keep an eye on your site to see how it turns out.

P.S. The name gives the impression that the site is focussed on American muscle cars, or weightlifting. If you really want to get all the car communities together I would suggest something less biased. Like, Neutral Ground or NW Time Attack. Maybe even put a picture of a car on the homepage. Just saying.

I like the idea! Wouldnt mind meeting up with people with different makes...domestic or import...i agree with the name tho maybe neutral it up a lil bit as some people may look at it and think strictly domestics...i like nemsin's idea of a good comprehensive schedule of events...maybe a good centralized public location for weekly meets also

Awesome advice! I'm a newbie to making/running a forum so advice like this is ALWAYS appreciated. Much thanks!

I try to keep up with the schedule of events by going through a lot of different forums and posting about it. As for weekly meets, we have them It's just on a subforum hidden from the public to keep unwanted visitors out
