I seem to be missing my key ring illumination on the lock cylinder.
it is a 03 evo 8.
can someone tell me the correct part number and where it wires up to for power.
I don't remember if it came like this when i bought the car, a month ago. or if it fell off when I was doing a alarm install.

I also found this piece just sitting in the center when I was installing the alarm and I can't seem to figure it out what it is or where it goes. any input/help? the wires are connected to the harness under the steering column and it is receiving 5 volts.





it is connected with butt connectors.

 

does your key work in all the door locks?

i'm guessing you ran a carfax before you bought the car, but a new ignition could mean that it was stolen
