My lil copilot is finally here!
We kept Brody out of the Evo for the first month....he's ridden in it a lot since then. I do hear a lot of , "Easy! Brody is in the car." I switched to Bilsteins to soften up some bumps for him and am looking to replace my test pipe with a round muffler to lower the noise level in the rear seat. Might do some sound deadening/absorbing work too.
recommend some kind of seat cover too.

Sorry Edogg23, but it had reasonable results and if you search the threads people have come out without injury in a number of serious accidents.
Force = mass X accelleration
With enough speed or enough mass any accident will be terminal. period (threw in the "period" just because it was so out of place in your sentence)
As you were too busy, period, to search for supporting evidence to your claim, and as it will benefit the Evo community, i'll post the links to crash test ratings.... (you are welcome for putting facts into the argument)

"Crash Test Data
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's frontal impact crash test earned the Lancer Evo IX a five-star rating for driver and passenger protection, while the vehicle yielded a four-star rating in the NHTSA's rollover test. The administration's side impact crash test earned the vehicle a two-star rating for front seat occupant protection, while it's rear seat occupant protection yielded a four-star rating. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's frontal offset crash test earned this car a "Good" overall rating, which is the IIHS's highest accolade."

Wow that is cool to hear! I'm glad you had time to research and correct my post while I am earning money working
Joking aside, that is good to know.

We will evaluate seats when the time comes. For now, shes limited to a rear facing seat anyways so no rush. I wasnt aware the Recaro seat had subpar ratings and thats really good to know because I had my mind set on it.
But its good for the new papa to know that the car has some nice records to back up its safety status while the new addition to the house is in back
^terrifying? Your kid hasn't proven how child unsafe your house is yet. Wait till the kid starts "bobbling" down the hallway, trying to become your own little biological multimeter!
Of course, I'm waiting for the girls to start becoming interested in boys for it to really get terrifying! A friend who has 3 boys once told me "all I need to worry about are 3 dicks...you have to worry about all of them." Damn it all with that logic!

After enough nagging, I got pix texted and Derek gave me approval to post them (for those that haven't seen her; I imagine she's plastered all over facebook at this point).
Adorable, and once again congrats!
