I already have an expensive car habit.

Seriously, I was big into RC cars when I was younger, and that ish gets expensive!

Car + charger + batteries would probably run $300-$400 depending on what car everyone bought, not over-the-top expensive, but finding a convenient place to build a track like that would be tough haha

i actually used to have a TC3 RC car that i raced at rain city raceway in lynnwood when i was growing up but they shut down.

It would be cool to get into the drifting RC car hobby.

And yes when i had my RC car i spent prolly about 500 bucks in total.

Fun stuff tho, especially after watching this lol

I used to be into the whole RC car scene, I stuck to gas/nitro powered cars though. Electric is the way to go, this video is a testament to that.

That red X looks incredible, wish they focused on it a little more.

Definitely not a cheap hobby ! LOL

I had mine running for 10 minutes, and BAM! I needed $20 worth of replacement parts.

I've thought about getting one to drift for a while, it would be epic to have a place to lay asphalt like that for a track though

It sounds like you never really got into the hobby. That's like saying car + fluids + tune is $22k for a used Evo. We all know that ain't the case!

I was more into gas and those things can be little money pits, especially if you want to stay any sort of competitive.
