Seems odd they took something that specific. Seems like they might have known it was there.

Sorry to hear the news. I'm betting it was someone you know. Not everyone keeps a safe let alone know where one keeps their safe. My house was robbed when I was in HS and sure enough it was my "friend" who did it.

Barefoot bandit? Haha just kidding. In all seriousness it sounds like someone you would know, especially since that is the only thing they took.

Bummer man, keep your head up and def think about the close people who have questionable habits. Close friends/family will do unthinkably awful things to support a selfish addiction.

Question though, How many houses do you own to say "one of my houses" and not "my other house" or furthermore "my house" ?

Money says the person who took it knows you, or someone you know pretty well.....which sucks all the more.

Dude, same thing happened to me in high school... My other buddy had an idea who it was so we ended up going to his house to see if he was home. We ended up sneaking in his house and going into his room and found a bunch of items from my place. So I did the only rational thing I could think of and grabbed all his **** mags and hid them all around the upstairs of his house. Hid them in folded up bath towels, under his parents sheets in their bed and under the sinks in bathrooms. That'll teach em!
