WARNING/help!!
Update: so i finally got my car finished friday, i had to get a new valve gasket cover and a new alternator. the problem with the car is that the valve cover was leaking oil onto the alternator and that was shorting it out. Now i have new problem
I drove my car for about a day and now my check engine light is back on and whenever i start up my car it starts up but idles below 1000 rpm. after I drive it for about 20 minutes it idels normally but just does not idle normally when i start. it also makes this whining noise when the turbo is sucking in air after i shift.. will post a video later today
bought my 03 apexi silver evo about a month ago from s. tacoma auto.. bought it on a friday took it up to bellingham and back to seattle and ever since then its been in the shop. the dealership did fully inspect my car n its costing me now. so far had to get new master clutch, slave cylinder, break line, alternator, and valve gasket. NEVER BUY A CAR ON TACOMA WAY!! false promises and ****ty deals. but its all good in the name of the evo
also my engine idles at around 2k.. took it to a mitsu dealer n they dont kno why its doing this. any ideas? or any advice would b great
if the car is still at the shop, get her away from there.
if you're buying parts from the dealer, you'd probably be better off buying them from oreiley's, that way you may get a lifetime warranty on some of the parts.
and you'll probably never get out of this slump if you keep paying someone to look at the car.
i've never really worked on an evo, but i'm sure i could help out a little if you're still paying someone else.
good luck

Uh, about your sig....
Off topic as all hell, but as an atheist, I don't want to see that **** when I'm on a website pertaining to cars. Appreciate you pushing your beliefs on us, but...yeah.
I onno, maybe the vets on this site who had to hear "allahu akbar" right before being hit by small arms fire or mortars and rockets? Me? Other people? This is not a religous forum, and religious beliefs/quotes/ideological ideas have no business here?
Take a chill pill, man. He's not pushing his ideas on you or anything, there's no harm in having that as his signature. If you hadn't brought it up it wouldn't even be a topic of discussion; that's the kind of thing to express in a PM, not a post.
