if it was from this place:

http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/ctd/2646327023.html
http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/2634902322.html
http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/2634911338.html

they only really sell salvage-title cars and cars that need a lot of work. i feel bad for you if it was from there, sorry for the troubles!

Clutch master, Brake lines, Slave seems odd. Were they tampered with or something. Hope the Dealer is not making it more of a Lemon then it really is.

The idle problem is probably pretty simple to get fixed.

We have a ton of good used parts so things like Slaves, Master, Idle motors etc I have at a 1/4 of what the dealer charges and if we are barking at the wrong problem its no big deal unlke the Dealer that will just keep charging for parts to fix a problem that they have not idea what it is.

Anyway if you need a tow or any help please let us know.

Luke, side question. Does the Evo slave cylinder have a restrictor in it like the DSM slave cylinder does?

was it from Import Auto World? I got my first evo there for super cheap, (8K) and spent like 2k fixin it up, and had it running perfectly. It had a salvage title, and I knew it before I purchased it.

If the dealer sold you a salvage title car, without disclosing it to you, buddy you can take them to court. However, if you purchased it knowing it was salvage, I hate to say it...but you kinda stepped into problems. Not that the dealership was in the right not telling you about the problems, that sucks for sure.

Like they said above...call ER. They are the shiznit

edit: saw above and it was said S 66th and S. Tacoma Way... yeah, thats Import Auto world...they don't sell ONLY salvage titles...but the majority of their cars are. However, they DO disclose it...Dean is a pretty honest and reasonable guy in my opinion

Thanks,
-Tim
