now i'm ***cing pissed off. I know most of you work 9-5 monday thru fridays but i don't and i took a day off on Sunday to go down to Centrailia. So now It's cost me 100 bucks in pay and NO ONE ELSE IS GOING TO SHOW??????????? Great......no love, no love whatsoever.

Well, here's the deal, I just talked to Allison and we both decided that we will be there on Sunday at the library in Centrailia. Anyone else who decideds to show up great, otherwise oh well.

By the way Korum needs an answer becuase , go figure, we havn't given them one, and Jeff and I wanted to do a food drive in conjunction with thier Presidents day sale. But if we can't pull it together and decide, then they are going to find another club to give thier time and money to.

hey dustin, i think i will be there on sunday... i will either ride up with alison or drive, if thats cool with you alison... i know im not an officer, i dont think? but i would be glad to show my support. i understand all of what you have been doing, and i appreciate the effort. i would also like to see the ralli art i also agree with jons idea of having groups based on interest... i think that is the best way to diversify a car club.

Jon- since we can't seem to get everybody together (and calling an "officers meeting" isn't exactly inviting for the rest of us) I think the forum is a PERFECT place to air dirty laundry

I can not make it up to Centralia Library this Sunday. I will be going around in my neighborhood with my Truck picking up branches that fell off trees due to the ice storm. Im actually going to be doing this all weekend.

oh_canada_00: I seriously think we could not have made a decision about Korum issues with only the officers. This is a large topic that we probably need to discuss further as a team, and possibly create a committee to further advance plans if needed.

If you have such vital information that we the group needs to pay attention to due to a time schedule why not just somehow scan or email this info to a few people in each region. Then they can distribute this either in person or to other members via email or some such method. We should look at this as a team and not as a few select people.

pvp games can really release some steam, Im sure we all have some sort of conflicting schedule, so lets make this work as best as we can.

I think all this fuss is completely unnecessary. If we can't all meet in the near future together to hash things out, let's look at alternatives instead of bickering uselessly.

For everyone that's meeting this Sunday, come up with something in writing that we can discuss next Sunday before the big gtg. Then once we've all gone over things, we can try to meet again and finalize everything; whether it's online or in person.

I really don't see the point in meeting this Sunday without everyone that needs to be there and the same can be said about next Sunday's gtg as well. At the very least, if we can at least get everyone's opinions on the table we can start working toward a conclusion.

FYI:

For those of you who want to go meet this Sunday, I did reserve the Centralia Library 1PM till 5PM at the latest for Team Lancer NW. This could only be setup as an OPEN TO PUBLIC meeting due to the fact that this was not setup 1 to 2 weeks in advance.

Is it going to be a mandatory face-to-face for the officers in Centralia on Sunday or, as was requested by Rick at the beginning of this God awful thread, an online meeting?

And we can't give opinions about Korum, if that's the only topic being brought up, if Dustin isn't forthcoming with information. He and Jeff wanted to do what? A Food drive? When was this discussed? How come there isn't a thread about it? If giving Korum an answer or signing on was such a pressing issue why wasn't it brought up earlier?

THAT'S NOT THE WAY THIS WORKS
This particular meeting was decided on by our Secreatary and N Region coordinator. There was NO authority involved. Neither the VP nor Pres called this meeting, and they didn't decide the time nor venue. So too bad if you don't have the audience you so crave at a meeting that you made up and expected the rest of us to attend.

oh_canada_00, Can you get the info you have from Jeff @ Korum on paper and distribute it to the members who can make it this Sunday, as well as relay any other info. Then they can bring it back and distribute your info during the January 24th Meet to the rest of the members since you can not attend.

hey, I gotta give dustin and alli props for their motivation and taking initiative but you also have to understand that not everyone has the free time to meet up face-to-face everytime something needs to be discussed.

The decision has been made already. Those that meet this Sunday, please make absolutely sure that you have your itinerary ready for the rest to go over and discuss at next week's gtg. When Dustin wanted to have this emergency meet, I saw the positives in that he wants to get things squared away and for the club to take some action. Can't argue with that, in fact that's what we can use more of.

However, I'm going to harp again on what the point of having a meeting is if everyone that needs to be there can't be there? That's why I won't make the meet a mandatory one this Sunday. There was not enough time for everyone to make plans.

Let's salvage what we can by getting one half of the argument on paper and we'll get the other half done at the gtg. After that, we should be more than ready to come to a conclusion, whether it's in a chat room or in Centralia.

Let's not get at each other's throats, however, since we all have good notions in mind.
