Wanting to trade my fully built TRE rear diff i paid 850 + 100 S+H +600 for core for + $50 for Energy Suspension rear diff and mustache bar bushings already installed (since i needed a brand new unit) a fully built 12 plate max lock from jon @ tre. If you don't get them fully built prepare to wait about a month last time i checked to get your car back and running total i paid $1600 the rear diff has 0 launches on it and about 6k highway miles, i received my rear diff on 05/06/2011 about 6 months ago. My tre rear diff + bushings for your stock rear diff MUST be in good condition + $500

I'm not willing to ship but potentially for extra money if you are some what close to Beaverton, Oregon i would be willing to drive to you.

two reasons one i messed up my foot so it hurts to shift so i'm selling it and two i was just offered a pretty lucrative federal job so i'm upgrading and i want somebody that's actually going to enjoy the rear diff like it should be. I have somebody lined up that says he wants it.

The turn around time quoted is a bit inaccurate. Mine with shipping was just over 600 dollars to have done and took 1.5 weeks.

 

yours also doesn't have any add ons like the hd side cover, oil sight glass or pinion spacer. However mine does lets compare apples to apples. If you just wanted a bare 12 plate locking yes you can get it done for $465 + $100 S+H per tre website and jon @ tre. I posted his website with pricing to make it super easy. When i had ordered mine it took me 2 weeks even though he had fully built 12 plate locking pre-built. He was terrible at answering his phone and responding emails. It took me 4 days sending him numerous emails and phone calls to just find out his paypal information where to send the money.

Not sure when you ordered yours but my experience was different and what i was quoted was about a month and it would've been very accurate within a couple days.

Mine doesn't have the HD side cover because it came out after mine was purchased, but I have all the other options that were available at that time. To have the diff serviced is not as expensive as you painted the picture to be in the OP. I think we can both agree on that.

 

Like i said, compare apples to apples we have different options on our rear diffs and i bet there's some more differences. Unless you're inquiring about rear diffs constantly or work for Fedex or work for Jon and or are Jon, you really have no idea his turn around time THEN, let alone know me and how long it took me to receive my rear diff. Please feel free to either call jon @ tre 269.382.2669 or read my price summary to ACTUALLY find out what i paid, but i'm glad you know my finances. After you call jon feel free to appologize for your assinine assumptions. You could try re-reading maybe slowly or out loud the webpage and figure it out on your...own?? It's really simple math.

no you can't, because his shop is being moved and not setup yet.

earliest he's going to be working on people's diffs is end of december, last I heard a few weeks back. noone's had a TRE diff done in months as far as I can tell.

I'll wait until Jan and see if he's ready but I might just see if Shep will do a core charge so I don't have to wait.
