Great way to start the weekend.... Advice please

Well put some new parts on and wanted to go see how they effected the performance.... Long story short, got cut off by another driver and had to point her into an embankment in order to keep from contacting the other vehicle. I tried to stop, BUT I'm on my only set of tires from Southern California. Broken wheels and possible other damages were the result. What kind of tires do you wet weather guys run up here?! I'm looking for a good affordable tire that will stand up better to the road conditions but not be too loud and rough.
Thanks for the help.

RE-11s did pretty well in the rain.

I think most people will suggest Continental DWS

Conti DWS, Michelin PS2 or Pilot Super Sports, Bridgestone re960, any questions feel free to ask, used to work at a tire joint and feel that i know a little bit about tires ;-)

I got some nice Pirelli A/S that have worked great so far. Can't remember the details, but I'll try to remember to post later. They look like they should hold up to our mild winters pretty well too.

The best wet weather autocross tire is the Conti DW not the DWS, but they are pretty good as well. I run the DWS for my street tires. Sorry to hear about your accident, hope you get it sorted out.

DWS's here and I really like them. One of my favorite street tires I've ever used.

I've ran with DW tires, loved them as well. But with you being up in seattle, I'd consider DWS.
