Help please.

Here is a video of a noise that is coming from somewhere in my drive train and i need help figuring out what it might be. We tried do duplicate the noise on the rack but it wont make noise without a load on the system. It is much more pronounced under deceleration in gear than when accelerating. Any ideas would be great. Thanks

Sounds like your tcase is going. Do you have a high pitch noise after 60 upon acceleration? I had that noise on your video in my evo 8 when it was getting really bad. I started with the a high pitch whine about 60 mph. After a while I got it at almost all speeds and had that decel noise like in your video.

Sounds like it could be the case to me. Would pull the inspection cover and check the gears. Its pretty easy to see the ware. If it is the case it will be the 3rd one I have seen in 2 weeks

we did pull the plate but didn't see any noticeable wear on the gears. But I think ill stick with the plan we spoke about Lucas since everyone seems to think its the t-case
