Oregon Role call
Ghostrider, your roster doesn't have much. In fact, looking at your roster I'd say the chances of a lancer in the NW being in your club are slim to none. I've seen more lancers in my town alone and not a single one is in your club.
hey we are just proud of what we've put together in only a year. no need to get mean about it. I mean seriously, you start a club that spans 3 States and try doing it with only a handful of dedicated members. It takes while to get running! Besides with all of us and all of our contacts, we've touched base with a LOT of lancer owners through the NW.
Why you gotta hate?

Quite honestly, there are more than a few lancers in the club ... now its really all about getting people in the club, who are interested in keeping up in bein active in the club.
I personally drive a 03 OZ and live in Eugene, Oregon. I do my best to get up to the meets further up north .. i would say that most people are in Portland area and north .. up to seattle.
IF you are looking at the roster on the teamlancernw.com website, there's only 10 or so listed on there, which is easily less than half of the club.
Come hook up at a meet in the future .. worst case scenerio is that you meet some cool people who are into mitsubishis ..

I grew up in Bend, but now live in Kennewick/Tri-Cities WA
I really want to make it down to Bend for one of the autocrosses this year.
We will be autocrossing here in the Tri-Cities on August 14 and again on August 21 and 22

GVR-4 --Do you autocross your EVO? I'm new to autocrossing and have been having a blast in my Ralliart this year for Bremerton. I've heard lots of goof things about tri-cities autocrossing. I have a friend that ran there for a while and now runs with Chuckanut.
The club here is nice. Pretty low key, no rules lawyers, everybody just wants to drive and have fun. Our turnouts are also usually pretty small, around 50 cars and the tracks average over 60 seconds a lap for the fast cars. Last couple of races we have been getting in 5 runs each.
I can neither confirm nor deny that I autox my EVO... Although I'll admit to receiving a set of 17x9 5Zigen FNORC1's in matte black with some 235/40/17 Kuhmo race tires a couple of weeks ago that I'm very anxious to try out.
With any luck, I'm headed out this afternoon to Pina Motorsports for one of Andreas' 3" turbo back exhausts and and AEM intake.

That is untrue.

I am in Spokane, been here about 10 years. I was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon though. I think Oregon is a lot nicer than Washington myself.
Yeah it's cool that you are growing quickly and trying something out like that, I'm just saying it was probably not the best thing to say in retrospect. I might stop in the forums sometime and say what's up since I'm in the NW.
I admit that I made a bold statement, but it just reflects the amount of work that we've put into recruiting as many Lancer/Evo owners in the area.
GVR-4 is there a website for the tri-cities autocross club?
EDIT: that's the Sand and Sage club, right..... hmm... tempting to get in some extra seat time, but 4 hours is a LOT of driving before an event
I'd say we're the only club of any size along the I-5 corridor from Bellingham to Eugene.... unless the other clubs can't be bothered to go to shows, meet anywhere that other people might see them, or show up to racing events.
