if anyone in the portland area is driving an 04 es (or anything else with tails that will fit my evo) i will trade you straight up, and drive to you. i hate the stock tails on my evo. come on i know someone has them.

Do the 04 Lancer tails swap right in with the Evo tails?

As far as I can tell they are a differnt shape arent they?

Why not just mod your Factory tails by blacking them out.

who can black them out, my buddy mentioned that i should paint the chrome on the inside to match the body color. but as you can guess the selection is limited on the coast. anybody know of anyone that has tried it, or someone that could do a good job at it. i read on this website the es tails will fit the evolution. anybody have any knowledge of that? thanks

ew.. why would you want to put the lancer tails in your evo? either pay the money to have them blacked out, or buy the evoVII or MR tails. i have the VIIs and love them, best looking set of tail lights i have ever seen on any car.

I personally think the VII tails look good on a few color EVO's. WHITE, Black, Silver and Yellow look so sweet with blacked out tails. II did mine and a few other local guys. Awesome. I use a method that involves NO HEATING your housing so it doesnt warp. Takes about 5 minutes to take apart one side. The glue on the rears is different from the one on the headlights, it doesnt respond as well to heat

FYI, Evo taillights will not fit regular Lancers, and vice versa. This is due to the fender flares in the Evo. In order to fit, the taillights have to flare out more on the Evo.

they put regular lancer tails on an evo, if that fast and the furious movie. :P
had to mod the rear end though because the taillights are smaller in the US model
